The First Anti Aging Skin Care Step is to Water It

To keep a healthy cute skin that is away from premature aging, you should always care about its water content, but do not be misled by the term I used or the "moisturiser" description of some skin care products, because both are implying that we can "irrigate" the skin, actually:
IT IS NOT WATER that keeps the skin MOISTURIZED , rather, IT IS OIL.

If you use a soap to cleanse your skin, you remove the oil generated by the skin together with the day's accumulation of grime. Then if the body fails to replace this lost oil, the surface layer of your skin will fracture and peel (it is a thin layer of dead cells that have the same structure of the nails ).

Whether water is stored as a continuous layer, or present only in the molecular form within the protein macromolecules, it is essential for the structural integrity of proteins. Once lost from within the structure, the water cannot be replaced by topical application of any moisturizer, rather, it is regenerated within new proteins of newly dead cells, i.e. you need good nourishment of the skin, plus keeping optimal conditions for the skin by preserving the normal oil content.

This means that your skin needs natural moisturizing factors like amino acids (e.g. glycine, serine, glutamine, alanine, histidine..), skin-related lipids, like cholesterol, phospholipids, soy lecithin, sphingolipids and unsaturated fatty acids. Glycerin is one of the oldest and best traditional moisturizers since it is needed for formation of oils (triglycerides) through unifying with fatty acids.

Stay dry and hydrated. The moisture that’s good for the skin is the body’s natural water content, not water from external sources. So, while you keep the body hydrated by drinking plenty of water and avoiding caffeine and other dehydrating substances, you have to keep the skin from getting and staying wet. Wearing silk liners under outdoor gloves will help – silk dries very quickly so your hands don’t sit in wet gloves - and when you’re handling household chemicals such as dish detergents and cleaning products, rubber gloves are the answer.

If you use a fabricated product, make sure it has the following properties : It should be grease-less, non-sticky, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, completely safe and non-toxic.

If you go natural, you should consider oils like Almond, Olive, Aloes, Sesame, Flax seed, Cotton seed, and Primrose oils. Before the introduction of steroids such as hydrocortisone, Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's) present in many of these oils were the primary eczema treatment. They are natural anti-inflammatory and contain vital nutrients.Borage and evening primrose oils are high in Omega 6. If you’re going to use a supplement that contains all the EFA's, make sure they are properly balanced.

Eat these Healthy Fatty Foods to Lose Weight

The synonym of obese and over-weight is fat. This synonym together with the terms used heavily in weight-loss industry like "low-fat", have created the false feeling that "fatty food is all that matter". We can get the same amount or more calories from other foods through the guilt free feeling.

Apart from long chain fatty acids, trans-fats, and cholesterol dense foods we need to correct the concept of fats in our food for the following reasons:

1- When people understand they need to cut saturated fats, they tend to steer clear of meat and dairy foods which are both filled with healthy nutrients.

2- Without eating fats, absorption of fat soluble vitamins like A,D,E, and K is greatly diminished.

3- There is evidence that cooking vegetables in oils enhance absorption of Lycopene the red pigment in Tomatoes that helps fight cancer and heart disease.

4- We need the correct fats to supply us with the essential fatty acids (polyunsaturated fatty acids).

5- Weak heart muscles( like in angina pectoris) need medium chain fatty acids that produce a surge in energy, and are present in coconut and palm-kernel oils.

6- For people on diet, they need something to hold food for a longer period of time in the stomach, so that they do not feel need for eating over a longer time. Fats create this effect through slowing gastric motility.

In addition to nuts, seeds, avocado which can be taken as snacks, you may introduce these 2 fats into your food regimen:

1- Coconut oil and Palm-Kernel oil which are rich in medium-chain triglycerides.

2- Tahini or Sesame paste which are very delicious foods rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Tahini sauce which is made by mixing with some lemon juice or vinegar, garlic and salt and then thinned with water is one the most delicious known foods, and is a popular condiment for meat and vegetables in the middle east. It is extremely appreciated by tourists.

Keep your intake of fats around 50 grams based on pure fat content so that they supply about 450-500 calories. Example , if food A contains 30 per cent fat and food B contains 20 per cent fat, then you may eat 100 grams of food A and 100 grams of Food B through the day.
